I was wondering if anyone knows how a change in our company name (nor URL) would affect our Yahoo! rank? I know that Yahoo! combines their directory listings with Google results and we appear number one for our biggest terms on both google and Yahoo!, but Yahoo! shows our name in the serps as "Salt Lake Financial", which may change to say, "Sunlight Financial" instead. Since none of our keywords are listed in our name, this wouldn't hurt us, would it? Also, what would be the best process to have our listing changed to our new name, if need be? Thanks in Advance!

I've change company names before, and it appears that there weren't any problems with rankings. I would not anticipate any major changes in rankings as long as your url remains the same and that there aren't a lot of major changes to your site which would affect the overall content, keywords, etc. of your site.
The best way to change your name in Yahoo is to reply to the email that you were sent when you were accepted.
Keep in mind that you probably will want to check the backlinks to your site and also inform other websites that you've changed the name of your company and have them update their links, too.
