Would love to hear anyone's feedback about getting their site listed with Skaffe.com. Did you use the free submit or Express Review? Did your site get listed? How long did it take? Has anyone applied to be an editor there? What did you think about the application process?

No - GoGuides.org is GoGuides.org, Skaffe.com is Skaffe.com
It is true that Skaffe started out with the GoGuides database but it has since been updated independently - as has GoGuides. They are 2 entirely different directories now.

Well said crash!
I think what now matters most to webmasters is the fact that there are more options for submitting your web sites.
Search engines are giving weight to sites listed in both directories so listing your site in one or the other should have a positive impact on your over-all linking campaign. Getting listed in both should help your position even that much more.
BTW -- zihuarob nice to see you around. Hope you've been doing well!

Another spin-off at http://web-beacon.com/ now too.
Submitted two sites about a month ago. One listed within 12-hours. The other still not listed.
