I was wondering if anyone out there had submitted to the BlueFind Directory yet and if they had noticed any positives/negatives from the submission. Thanks!

I won't be submitting to them and am currently recommending that none of my clients submit to them. This site has not been around long enough (among other reasons).

I went digging around the net and found that some of the people associated with them don't appear to have a very good reputation.

Among other things, I saw that they got a right bashing from some other "ethical SEO" forum.

g1smd , bad reputation? Who? I control who is associated with BlueFind, so if there's somebody with a bad reputation lurking about, let's hear about it.

Right bashing, eh?

Must not be that forum...

Hmm. Not that one either...

Doubt that was the "bashing" you were hoping for.

the age of a site has nothing to do with its quality. I have a site that is on the first page of Yahoo! for searches like "seo" and my site is only 7.5 months old.

if a site is doing as well as BlueFind is right out of the gate then that is all the more reason to assume they will continue to do good over time.

your "among other reasons" was honestly actual your primary reason. which is that perhaps you are willing to make bad business decisions for your clients because you for some reason hate the owner of that site

but to each their own...

I went digging around the net and found that some of the people associated with them don't appear to have a very good reputation.

how does one become an "ethical SEO" forum?

why do you have ethical compliace to a script?

when people were crying to me in emails and phone calls last novemeber Google did not have much ethical compliance to those businesses that went under.

but that is different. Why???

ethical as it relates to SEO is a tag similar to the do not remove tag on the pillow. both are tags and both are useless/meaningless.

it is fine to hold personal vendettas, but to dispense nonsense as fact (especially as a moderator of a large forum) is wrong.

if you guys do not like BlueFind state what your problem is with BlueFind. Do not try to slander the character of the owner when you refuse to cite examples of your statements.

John is providing good value for there and so long as he keeps advertising and growing his directory the value will continue to be there.
