How long for DMOZ?

There may be no listed editor, but an editor higher up the branch may be spending a lot of time in the lower categories where no-one else is already listed. Ask for a status report at Resource Zone, a month after you last submitted. If they received the submission, then never submit again. (Copy Shortcut)
