Hi all

Can anyone give me a ballpark on how long DMOZ takes in reviewing and indexing sites? I've heard "a week" from some and "a year" from others. I am assuming the real answer is somewhere in between? Thoughts?

Thanks!

Kristen

There are no fixed time, due to the voluntary nature of the ODP. So the correct answer is: Between some minutes and several years.

It depends on the category you submitted to and if there's a lot of site to be reviewed and if there's an active editor there.

The editor listed there may not be active.

There may be no listed editor, but an editor higher up the branch may be spending a lot of time in the lower categories where no-one else is already listed.
