I am just starting to submit to directories and to create a link page on my web site.
Do I give directories a return link ?
Also should I only submit to directories that are about my web sites subject or can I submit to any directory?
Much Appreciated
Beth

Some directories request a return link, many do not.
It is it to you whether you want to submit to directories which require a link back. Would the directory add value to your website's visitors?

Hi Beth,
Unless required or the directory is industry specific and thus offers some particular value to your visitors don“t link back.
IMHO

Thank You sem4u & E10
Any opinions on the second part of my question?
Also should I only submit to directories that are about my web sites subject or can I submit to any directory?
Thanks
Beth

Beth, I'd say go ahead and submit to any directory that has a category your site fits into. Many even ask you to pick the category.
