dmoz states that it does not generally list redirecting urls. However, I have talked to an SEO company that told me that 301 permanent redirects are okay, is this true? My case is a php based site that is structured as follows: www-domain-com 301's to www-domain-com/folder/index-php
Would I have to submit the latter url? If so, how would this affect page rank? All sites linking to mine link to www-domain-com, so would the dmoz listing of www-domain-com/folder/index-php reflect page rank of www-domain-com or be independent and rather useless?
Thanks for your time,
Larry

301 redirects are OK for search engines.

DMOZ will generally list the URL that the content is at and is not concerned about how it may or may not affect your search engine ranking.

you can go to the category your listed in and click on the update listing link at the top of that page, or leave it...it will get found and changed. No reason to resubmit.
