Two questions:

Just curious if a one page site would pass Yahoo's $299 directory screen. I'm talking about basically a shopper's checklist, with a simple non-agressive "consider us" link at the bottom pointing to our product site. I suppose this might be construed as a doorway of sorts. Alternatively, we could drop the linkback to us on the page, make it purely informative, and alink back later. Opinions on this?

Secondly, does anyone know if you can have several paid listings in the yahoo directory (under different, relevant categories of course, and paying the $299 fee each time)?

I'd guess Yahoo would take your money and reject a one page "site" for their directory, and infact, reject it for their Search Express paid inclusion program too, if it was just a doorway.

But then again, if your page was truely a good samaritan useful shoppers checklist, they might add it to thier directory for free... so save your money and try suggesting your non-commercial "site" using [link]

You'll see that one of the first things Yahoo wants you to check for when you suggest a site to their directory, is if your site is already listed in the directory. You can pay to have sponsored listings in different places, but I think you are allowed only one official directory listing.
