Hi all,

We launched new portal dedicated just to web directories. The name of the site is WebDirectoryWatch.com and I would appreciate it if you could take a look at the site and give me some suggestions about what else would you like to see at the site. I would also like to hear any criticism or maybe some questions you would like us to answer at the site.

Thank you.

Clean, easy to navigate, clean URL's. At first I didnt like them, but the colors seem to grow on me. The home page kind of pushes you right into the site though - perhaps a blurb on what you are all about? I dunno. Overall its not too bad though.

Thank you for your comments vanachte. It is always very useful to hear what other people have to say. I like the comment about adding a blurb. I think we will very soon together with some other smaller improvements.

instead of a blurb, you could even use some kind of graphical intro. An image with a catchline, or something... A textual blurb would be better in terms of SEO, but may not appeal to users - its a fine line. I am by no means a graphics expert, but I know I personally like a strong visual.

I thought your advice about "blurb" was good. We added it to the home page. What do you think? I don't like the "graphical intro" idea too much.
