We've got a site that we would like to submit to Yahoo and the DMOZ. One concern is that those directories have policies against accepting affiliates. We do have affiliate links but we also sell products directly. Would we be denied because of this or are they only referring to companies that sell products solely through affiliate links? Any ideas?

If would often be denied. The ODP doesn't seek to list every business. It definately avoids listing multiple sites that are related in some way. The ODP prizes sites with unique informational value, a product inventory is not such information.

The best and easiest way to get listed in DMOZ is to open an overture account.
It takes a little money about 250.00 199.00 to set up the account and a little bit more to play at bidding.
Overture will get you listed in DMOZ their marketing people guarantee it. The editors at DMOZ can be brutal and this is a good way to get a relevant site listed IF you have the money.
