Hi,
I have a few article that I have had published in quite a few other sites as submissions. Now If i put the same articles in the resources section on my own site, would this be considered as duplicate content ?

It could be. Unique content is always better.

not exactly but a little bit considered as duplicate content. the articles must be enclosed carefully into ur website.

The best way to make sure there is no duplicate content penalty is to publish it to your own site first and check it is cached by Google before you publish it externally.
