I can't get any of the Suggest a URL links on DMOZ to work...
And can find no way to contact them via the site.
Anyone know a way around this? Is there an offline form I could fill out & email...?

tia,
Ben

I just read on another forum that they are having trouble with one of their servers and they need to order spare parts for it!

The "suggest a site" function may well be off for another month or two yet.

The editors got access to edit again only yesterday (after being locked out for 2 months) but only the basics are in place at the moment.

You'll have to wait. The editors have a lot of work to do to get the place working back how it was before it broke. There are bugs to be fixed.

There is no point suggesting sites while the other work is ongoing. The feature will be reactivated when it can be, and when it is possible for it to work properly.

I have read in a few places that they will not be back up until February. I think they are extremely backlogged with their submissions. Anyone hear any differnt?

so will they post a note and tell us when all is well or can we look here for a note or do we just keep trying to submit until we succeed?

Current status is reported in a Resource Zone announcement. URLs not permitted here but Google should help you to find it.

As the forum at RZ is a "well-known resource" there is no problem linking to the announcement Jim...

They are but I do not know if it will be as good as it once was. Does not hurt to submit though
