Avoid any drectory that requests a reciprocal link - and avoid like the plague any directory of directories that lists such directories. While it is rarely appropriate to generalise, 99% of such directories will do your site no good at all - and some will do severe damage  |

We do have a directory you could submit to (but links are not allowed to be posted here). I suggest you just google thru a lot of free directory sites. |

Go to this resource. I have pre-sorted the list by the "fee" column - this will allow you to see the directories that charge a fee at the top, so scroll down a bit. 
Next up, the "Free?" column - you want ones labeled "Yes". No fee is one thing, but many of those require back links, so they are a dead end - you want no fee and free - devoid of any conditions. I find what I need in that list. ...and since we're looking for blog directories, check out the results in this search... List of blog directory results Yes, you will need to check them individually. No, not everything in that list of results will suite your needs, but hey, I've already done this much work for you, time to dig in yourself from here.
When submitting, be very careful to follow the rules and enter everything they ask for. No, don't try to use a submission tool for this job - you shouldn't be submitting to hundreds or thousands of directories anyway, so in the long run, a bit of time now will help you out. |

SportsGuy, IF money is not an issue what is the route you would follow ? Saturation or PR ? Are submissions going to help on Google.ca as well ? |
