Is anyone else having problems logging in to
ODP? I am an editor but cannot log in -- I
keep getting "authorization failed". I sent
myself a password reminder, and my password
is what I thought it was.

Obviously, it is theoretically possible that
I have been removed from ODP. But I don't
think so: first of all, I can't think why I
would be; second, I'm still the listed
editor on the categories I edit (or at least
the one I checked); third, I can still send
ODP feedback to myself (I checked); fourth,
I can still send myself a password reminder.

If I have in fact been removed as an editor
from ODP, I will of course go away from this
forum in accordance with its posting rules.

I have been trying to get www.quiltbasketaz.com listed in Yahoo! (under Business and Economy: Companies: Arts and Crafts: Crafts: Quilting: Supplies and Equipment) for awhile, with no luck. Would someone be willing to take a look and give me some constructive criticism? I'll take anything I can get. The site has some interesting info, including a free pattern that can be printed out and an online store for ordering supplies, books, etc.

Thanks very much.

I am not having any problems logging in. I have checked your profile and it does not appear that you are removed as an editor.

Since your site is actually at http://mall.metroville.com/quiltbasketaz/shop you should be submitting that url.

Same problem here, I can't log in at all. I ask a friend (that was able to log in) to check if I was removed as an editor (there's no reason to!) and he says no, so I guess ODP has some technical problems actually.

Actually, the site *is* at http://www.quiltbasketaz.com, and it's slightly different from the one at http://mall.metroville.com/quiltbasketaz/shop - for one thing, it doesn't use frames.

I'm part of the can't log in bunch too as are a number of meta so I wouldn't worry about it - "its a hiccup in the system" - so take some time off and relax.

Well, I looked for the things Yahoo will be looking for. A big part is what do you sell, and how much is there. The link took me off site to the other one, by the same name. Soooo...it does not count as being THIS site.

Maybe Laurel is right. Anyway, good luck with it.

You should probably get rid of this sentence

"please
bear with us through these early stages. We are hoping this "internet road" will not
be too bumpy! We are excited about our new on-line store and we hope that you
are too. We will be constantly adding new items to our catalog...but slowly!!"

If Yahoo thinks your site is unfinished, they
may ask you to resubmit later or they may just move on to the next one.

Bridgebaron - We can't afford to lose you... I wouldn't have anybody good to argue with during the elections.

(I couldn't get in this morning either. They really have to time these bugs better in the future)

OK you guys - you know the rules - if you cannot login to DMOZ, then you have to login to ChefMoz Restaurant Guide and discuss your latest dining episodes!

BTW, as far as I know, the editor login problem is fixed now.
