Rezac, how can you say something like that?
Some of us aren't "in it for the money".

gotta agree - 110% since we're referring to bills endless and relentless contributions to those who visit here - my take most successful seos aren't solely about that because if they were they would never take the time required with the initial meager returns to learn what it takes to make money, imo - it is not a short sided task if you are too be successful.
Curious, putting a spin on this thread - cuz it needs one - what have you gotten out of helping others bill? I know I always learn a lot by answering the questions i can, and listening. imo, if you want to get a grasp of a lot here at the forums, read a lot - if you really want to 'learn' ... make it a two way process and ask questions, and in return for the help - answer questions that you can. even if you are not 100% sure yourself. that's the beauty of a forum, if you are not right ... someone will come along quickly to set you and others straight. The more you do it, the more you learn ... because you are no longer relying on just your experiences, but 100s of others as well. If you are shy and never post, you'll never learn 1/10th of what you can. I've learned a lot from your posts as well Bill. thank you!

fair enough rezac, i didn't mean to pile on - but making light is usually a one time mention, above you return to it time and again which gave me the perception that you were doing more than that.
we like you too

Rezac, I just want you to know, FWIW, I enjoy your posts. I really do.
What you missed in this thread, is the opportunity to make someone feel good, who has earned it. For that reason, I'm going to post something good about a person I seldom agree with.
bhartzer, is a person, who is trying hard to better understand his craft, and genuinely help people. This thread is the result of that fact. There are plenty of SEOs cruising the "boards" looking to find customers, but I'm very glad to know Bill, and I completely believe that Bill is participating on this board for the same reason I am ... to learn.
BTW - I'm not a professional SEO. I'm just hanging out, trying to figurer it all out.
If you want to do me a big favour, don't respond to this post. Just forget about it. You help out here a lot, truth be told, you deserve a thread as well.

I can honestly say that I have learned more from Mr Bhart's posts than any seo forum or newsletter.
Benevolance means sharing your advantage and Mr. Bhart does just that numerous times per day. I don't always agree with what he shares as gospel, however I know for a fact he is never very far from seo reality.
I can say this for certain. If I was in need of SEO I would at least attempt to put Mr Bhart on my bus.
*Purchasing a virtual "Langavoulin" and sliding it to Bhart... Cheers Friend.
Gratefully, L

I truely am sorry for coming off that way, everyone here is a delight to interact with.
Bhartzer, Logan, Philh and a long list of others contribute immeasurable wealth to this community.
My late night posts usually don't make too much sense and we all know why that is. *gulp, gulp, gulp*
