I read somewhere that Google won't index asp pages with a querystring attached (even if they're pointed to by a static link).

I tried the demo of Link Freeze which apparently turns the querystring to a more Google friendly character, but I'm not sure if it's made any difference to the spidering of my site.

What do others think? Should I be getting the full version of Link Freeze (or any other similar system) or is it not worth it?

NB - the sites I have use a LOT of asp querystrings.

Sean.

rewrite your urls - you are on the right track.

Google will index some urls with variables in the querystring, but no variables in the url is a lowest common denominator that is beneficial to improved spidering of your site by google and other engines.

i've never used link freeze, so no comment on that.
