    Hi,

Another one of life's silly questions.

My site has been active for around 3 weeks and it has backlinks that I created from signatures on forums and directories that I swapped links with.

Yet, there hasn't been the slightest sign of a Google Bot even sniffing the site, let alone indexing it and adding it to the SERPS.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

Those aren't the best links to have. I wouldn't put much weight into signatures and directories you have swapped links with--they're really not counted much anymore.

Focus on getting one-way links that share the same topic as your site.
