i am the new user.
i have a query about google ranking.
Just wondering how I can optimize my site to get a page rank(>5) on google.

Focussing on PR is not a good idea. A site gets what it deserves. Attempts to force it higher are easily spotted and almost all of the methods that people have been using are now on Googe's radar and either don't help you or else flag you up as trying too hard. Focus on code, content, navigation, and visitor experience. The rest will follow.

PageRank is purely mathematical, based on the number of IBLs and the PR of the sites that are linking to you. There are several ways to get IBLs: directory submission, article submission, RSS syndication, reciprocal linking, blogs, forums...

Google has already said (through Matt utts blog) that certain types of links and sites are omitted from the calculations.
