I have a question. The following is from Google's Technical guidelines. I want add pages of content to my website, but I don't want to lose the page rank I already have for my main page. Will the following help? Also If I add a flash banner to my main page, is there a way to implement it so that google will crawl it an dindex it? Thanks for your advice.

Google Technical Guidelines:
"Make sure your web server supports the If-Modified-Since HTTP header. This feature allows your web server to tell Google whether your content has changed since we last crawled your site. Supporting this feature saves you bandwidth and overhead."

1 - adding the new content on their own pages shold do nothing to hurt your page rank and will help the site overall - go for it.

2 - flash cannot be completely crawled and indexed by spiders at this time - so skip this idea and make sure there's a text link to the content the flash was leading folks to if yu want the actual content indexed.
