After reading the forums, I realize I need a 301 redirect. What I can't figure out is which one to direct which to.

In Google I get the following results
site:www.mysite.com -- lists results with www prefix
site:mysite.com -- also lists results with www prefix

Google PR of 0 with the www.mysite.com
Google PR of 2 with the mysite.com (I've been using this domain to submit to directories - about 30 so far)

    Any suggestions?

    Mike

Hey Mike - welcome to the forums! smile

I'd suggest redirecting the non-www version to the www version using 301 redirects. By using the 301s, you'll hlep transfer some of that PR the non-www version's built up.

In the end, I wouldn't sweat PR - it's not somehting to chase.

When Google counts my backlinks will it see the non-www links(from submission to directories) and count it towards my www site. Would you recommend editing the links in the directories I submitted to, or will the Google Spider just find them from crawling, and correctly credit them to my www site through redirection.

www and non-www are technically two different things. So, you'll want to analyze your backlinks and use the one that gets more links and has more PR. Then, you should set up a 301 from the one you're not using to the one you're using.
