I know all about the MOds and Hacks!

But my question is if you use these forums for SEO purposes does it really help a website achieve better rankings?

Should it be used in a website (Site A) to promote itself, or should it be used in another website (site B) to promote Site A?

    Thanks

If you want to start forum related to Site A then add it to Site A else go with Site B. And don't forget to host Site B on different class C IP; if you want to link both sites.

    Thanks Dinkar.

I guess we will just added it to Site A and try to police it to avoid getting spammed.

Site A has a lot of competitors that are always looking for a free ride.

    Cheers
