    Hello

    I need suggestions about implementing URL Rewriting and the effect on Google Indexing and Ranking of a NEW website (I am going to develop in future).

    Is there any disadvantages of URL Rewriting ?

    No disadvantages, just as long as each page of content has only one URL that can be used to access it, and that all other URL variations either serve a 301 redirect or have a meta robots noindex tag on them.
