    Hi

I want to ask which extension should we use in URL re-writing. I have seen that mostly people re-write their URLs in *.html format. While the actual pages can be asp, php, etc.

Is there any advantage (for SEO point of view) in using HTML file extension instead of ASP or PHP, etc. ??

    Thanks.

    Does not matter.

You could end them all in .sajjadlogic if you wanted to. wink

No real advantages to any extension of another.

If your intention is to have PHP scripts on the page, then you can quite easily use AddType such that filenames ending in .html are automatically treated as being able to contain PHP scripting. No URL rewrite is even necessary then.
