On my site (see profile), all of our page ranks have disappeared for most of the pages. The homepage pagerank still remains at the moment.

Can anyone shed any light as to what is going on ?

Could simply be Google playing with the PR - you know that data is about 4 months old - the data you're seeing in the toolbar graph...

keep an eye on the number of pages G is showing in it's index.

    Use the following search:

site:yourdomainhere.com - note - there is no space between the colon and domain name. wink

If the number fo pages starts dropping dramtically, or pages are being tagged as "Supplemental", there's some thing up. Supplemental results are going to be removed shortly becuase they closely match content you already have, and once they reach supplemental stage, it's hard to turn them around quickly enough to avoid the URL dropping from the index.

They will get re-indexed if you make changes to the content and G sees them as unique, so it's not the end of the world.

Right now my money is on the PR data being monkeyed with. wink

See what you get for each of these:

    domain.com/
    www.domain.com/
    domain.com/index.html
    www.domain.com/index.html

I'll bet your index page is indexed under the "wrong" URL.

Interesting. Do you expect the last two queries to return no results if the site is well indexed?

Three of the searches should return nothing, but especially the last two in the list should not exist.

I get the same results for all searches. Where have we gone wrong ?

But we do have a page rank for the homepage, it is just the other pages have no page rank.

    I noticed that when searching

    domain.com

Google shows the site indexed as www.domain.com

I have a similar problem. My home page has a PR of 5 but all of my other pages show a PR of 0. My internal pages did have PR values above 0 until recently. Can anyone tell me what this means please?

According to most members on this forum, our site has many problems including duplicate content. Although we rank very well in Yahoo and MSN.

Are you ranking well in MSN.

When did you lose the PRs ?

Very strange that now all my page rank has returned for our site after quite a few months maybe upto 1 year.

I wonder if Google is updating there PR database ?

The same problem occurred today on my site which had a homepage PR2 and internal pages with PR4. PageRank has disappeared from all pages other than the homepage.

Is anyone else experiencing the same problem and can someone shed any light on a cause/solution to this? We did have several pages that were supplemental but the meta tags have been modified on those pages.
