In general some sites are having 'http' extension some sites are having 'htpps' extension and some sites are having 'http://www' what is the difference these extensions?

http:// is where most sites have content that's commonly, freely accessible by anyone
https:// is a secure area of the server - you must have a password to enter, etc.
Having a domain shown as http://domain.com or http://www.domain.com will get you to the same place.
Many folks prefer to include the www in the domain, though many sites run without it.
Not certain why you'd need to choose one over the other, but there ya go.

https is a secure version of the http protocol - not necessarily any password involved.
