    Recently we launched a web site and performed directory submission to gain backlinks.now when i check in google i found all the backlinks we achieved from various directories(including directoires like joeant) are listed as supplement results.will this affect the ranking of my web site and how can i imporve my backlinks with being listed as supplement result.

    Google doesn't think much of the pages that link to you.

    Either they were low quality pages, or they are now penalised for what they link to.
