Give it some more time Mark - 2 weeks is a pretty short time to get into the index and show up in the search results.

It can sometimes take months, but usually at about the month and a half mark you'll start to be able to search on your full domain name and find yourself.

PS - Welcome to the forums! smile

Yes welcome. Please understand, the engines have to know your web site is there. The best way to get indexed by search engines is to have links from web sites that are already indexed going into your web site. If you submit your home page it may take about a month or so, but you should get indexed.

The best bet is to ask for inbound links from other quality web sites.

Get a few links pointing to your site from pages on other sites that search engines have already indexed, then wait a few weeks and see what happens.
