Hi I was wondering if anyone could tell me why google is using the title Rug Emporium for my site listing when it should actually be something else. It is driving me crazy, how do I go about changing it?
Cheers
Mark

I'm guessing that you have changed the title tag recently and Google hasn't taken a new copy of your site

First check your with ODP listing and see what title you are getting in ODP listing? If the title of ODP and google index are same then Google is indexing title and description as displayed in ODP listing.
If this is the case then you need to include a meta tag code within you <head> </head> tag. Just include <meta name= " robots " content= " noodp " > and leave it for some time and check..
Do not forget to post your result.

Thank you, the title is the same in odp so I will stick that meta tag in. I will post my results in the near future however in the meantime could anyone tell me why google doesn't cache my site or it does but doesn't show it if you know what i mean. eg, it will say last cached on but the copy it has will be blank

you mean your cached version ddisplays nothing!? I recently ran into this and paniced lol. The reason I found out why this happens is because a coding compression function was turned on (or something similar)
