Okay, this is my problem:
I have been indexed by google. Most of my pages are indexed, and there is nothing else I can really do indexing wise. But when I check to see how many links I have on other pages, I have about 20 on yahoo and msn. Nothing on google. Why is it that google won't pick up those links? That would help my ranking in the search engines if I actually had links. LOL. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Joanna Hartman sent me here. I am excited to learn a lot!

It's not that they won't pick up those links, it's that Google, on purpose, decides not to show you the links they know about.
Last time I checked, I had 3000 links to a site; Yahoo! shows about 3000, MSN shows about 2800, and Google shows 8 links.
Don't look at the links that Google shows; look at the links that MSN and Yahoo! shows because they're much more accurate. Google doesn't show use the backlinks because they're so much a part of their algorithm.

I see, that is really interesting. So more than likely, google has all of the links that msn and yahoo have?

Yes, most definitely. They know about those links but choose not to show us that they know about those links.

That is quite funny. They are secretive. I guess when you are that big you have to be.
