If I'm running an Adwords campaign, and my link appears on someone elses site because they use adsense.
Does Google count the Adwords link as an inbound link (if it happens to appear when they crawl a site)? If not, can they detect a link from an Overture(yahoo) ad and discount that too.
It would seem that you can create one-way links from topic specific sites by running an Adwords campaign.
Okay - Go ahead, tell me I'm wrong.

No, those links do not count. If you view the source code of the page where your link appears, you'll see that it's in javascript and you won't see your link or URL.

No adwords/adsense will not be count as an incoming link for your website, google, msn and yaoo will strip the code when they count links to your site. You can check new yahoo site explorer to see how many link you have from various sites.
