Our company site has been No 1 for several years for the term "kitchen appliances". Sudenly this summer before I joined the company it droped to N0 5 and then to No 6 for UK results.

Some of the sites in front of us hardly use the keyphrase, and the page code of some of them is full of JS and CSS formatting.

We have recently changed our system to CMS with clean CSS template that cuts down on code. The pages were reoptimized, using entirely white hat procedures. All of that to no avail.

The URL of our site is in my profile. The main keyphrase words are also included in our domain name.

I would appreciate if you could give me any clue why our site would be trailing behind those sites.

Yeah, put some Meta Descriptions in your header and remove the commas from your keyword Metas for starters. CMSystems mostly suck for SE optimization.
