    Site rank 1 is listed but server gone belly up. I created a new domain, redid all the links, submitted to google and it will not come up. sad

    It is not picking up that the old server site is dead. Long gone.
    One would think they could figure that out.

    Been weeks now. The strange thing is I used the Alta Vista and All the web (free submit )and the darn thing showed up within 24 hours..

    They know it's dead - it's just that it can take weeks for the Google index to clear it's cache of old/removed/deleted sites - it's just how the system tends to work.
