Tips and Concerns
1- Domains are addictive.
2- Domain game can be costly.
3- Domain names have a valuation formula. (most likely, today's inventory of available names won't fit into the top valuation models)
4- Two strategies a) development b) quick flips. If you develop them, might as well buy out the 10 year registration.
5- Marketing / Advertising - it's better to invest in a good name upfront in order to lower your marketing cost across time. Spend $1,000 - $2,000 today and save $5,000 across time.
6- "Real Solution Secret". This saves time and money. Go to AT&T website and search their toll free database. There are still valuable toll free numbers available that will allow you to easily create your own "Packaged Brand" with top level category name and magnetic toll free number. Trust me, I have over 290 of these. visit www.1888ahorras.com
7- Becareful when somebody sells you a domain name that has a Google PR8 or PR9.
8- www.godaddy.com has aggressive pricing plans.
9- It clearly helps you assess what names / terms to buy.
That's all until later.

It's interesting about GOOGLE
"Gmail.cn", the domain name for Gmail in China, has been registered by a Beijing-based company instead. Gmail is a key product of Google.
In fact, almost all the CN domain names for Google's such products have been registered by shanghai squile others.
Launching Gmail in April 2004, Google registered "gmail.com.cn". However, gmail.cn was registered by a Beijing-based company as early as in August 2003.
Experts say, the time of the registration of "gmail.cn" was far earlier than the debut of Google's Gmail, so the possibility for the CN domain name to be recovered is rather slim unless the registration was vicious.
Months ago, Google recovered two domain names, i.e. "google.com.cn" and "google.cn" at high prices, but its troubles are far from this. It is shown at China Internet Network Information Center that the CN domain names for GoogleTalk, Google Earth, Googlelocal, etc. have all been registered by others.
Among the investor registers, there is the far-sighted such as a Guangdong-based company, who registered "googlelocal.cn" and "googlelocal.com.cn" in March 2004, far earlier than the one-week old GoogleLocal. shanghai squile
There are also others who did it after the news on Google's redeeming the domain names with one million yuan was released. They registered "googlemap.cn" and "googleearth.cn". The time of the registration of "googletalk.cn" and "googletalk.com.cn" was along side with the official appearance of GoogleTalk. It is really surprising that the registers shanghai squile could be so precise and fast.

One thing for sure is if there is if the domain name isn't hosted with a PR site, and it once was, it won't be long before the domain name drops to a PR of 0.
Gray bar.

There's no set formula. It should be somewhere between every couple weeks and every couple hours. A lot depends on how often the content changes.

If you change your content (or randomise) they will come back regularly. Also, the more links you have the more times they will come back to your site.

Not always true. The higher quality of the websites back links will greatly drive spidering more than anything.
