Hi, Friends,

I have a client who has several websites and is just getting into adsense for one of them. All the websites are on different hosts. Currently they link to one another and enjoy fairly good rankings.

My Question:
By placing adsense on all of them, instead of just one, will that create a problem for his rankings? Will Google recognize that the same adsense account is being used on all the sites and penalize any link? The sites have related but unique content.

Thanks for any advice on this!

smile

NO, there won't be any problem doing so.

Nope - shouldn't be any issues.

Adsense is a separate system, so long as you follow it's rules, it'll be fine.

I'd caution him to make sure he's not doing too much interlinking between those sites, though. if Google thinks he's doing it to try to boost rankings, they might discount the values of the links (or worse).

Most likely, if it's been fine for a while, it'll be fine moving forward, but just something to keep in mind if any of them share IP addresses and such. wink
