Hi David - welcome to SEF! smile

Your original post was edited to remove the domain to keep it in compliance with our rules. wink Don't sweat it as folks can easily find your domain in your profile - good work updating it. smile

Here's some more info that might be helpful to a new poster.

Now, to answer your question, there's little you can do to speed up or slow down the crawl rate Google and the other engines have. The crawl when they crawl, they update caches when they update caches.

In a nutshell, the best things you can do are things like making sure the navigation is easily spidered, that you have a good sitemap in place and use lots of internal linking from various points around your site.

Those types of things will help the spiders get around your site quickly - which they appreciate. Being seen as a "good" website by the engines is always a good thing.

frequent updates to the content can also help ensure the spiders come back frequently. Some very well established sites see the spiders many times each day and can see things update in the caches in a matter of days (some claim hours). You have to be well established, well trusted and very search friendly to top the list.
