I recently aquired a great industry specific domain name off a just released list and it has a page rank of 0. I can't remember if that means its banned or if it simply has nothing linking to it. Anybody know?

A page rank of 0 simply means that. It may have links, but not necessarily of quality. It does not necessarily mean a ban, though with some toolbars, and some domains (ie those that previously had a green bit), it just might.
For toolbars that are capable of showing a gray bar, that may well mean a ban if a page previously scored. But not always. For pages that have never scored, it may simply mean the page has yet to be indexed for a full three months.
None of this is 'rules' - it all depends which page you are looking at, which toolbar you are using - and how long it's been since the last update.
But do be clear, page rank is about pages - not sites - and will vary within a site.
You will understand by now that toolbar PR is largely a waste of time - That's Pagerank 101!

The Toolbar PR is always months out of date, and is only updated a few times per year.

Dont worry what is your page rank. coz it is not hundred percent accrate. If you want to check your backlinks you can check it manually.

Some people are seeing some PR changes in the Toolbar data today.
Remember that Google already factored the "new" PR into the rankings many weeks or months ago.
