Hi
We have our own company eCommerce related domain. We created sitemap test+xml for this site. We have more then 1000 links in it. As per my concern crawler can easily follow the not more then 100 links

So our concern is:

Shall I break-up into ten parts and place 100 links in each sitemap page?
Like www.domainname.com/sitemap-1.htm
www.domainname.com/sitemap-2.htm
www.domainname.com/sitemap-3.htm..... Etc

Please leave your great suggestion on it.

Thanks

Can it be broken up into meaningful categories?

Whatever you do, break it up - even if you put a "noindex" meta tag on those pages. They will still be spidered, and still have their links followed. The pages will also gain PR and be able to pass it on, even with the meta tag in place.

Hi
Is any rule regarding number of links should be there in one page especially for G. As per my experience 100 links will be better for crawler to index the links. What your suggestion?

Thanks
