Hi,
My site was indexed till last month. It got listed in google in year 2005 and there was no problem. I changed teh metas and title in mid Sept 2005 and after that the title is appearing as "ContactForLenses" instead of the title which i have given. I checked the source file and there is no multple title tags in the source file.
Any idea on why this is happening?
Regards,

The title provided is based on how your site is listed in Dmoz listing. If you check DMOZ.org you could find the same the title. Maybe you can update the Dmoz listing with the new information wrt title and description

Thanks a lot skinnyalley for the quick response.
I have updated the listing at DMOZ. Hope this does nto take long time as listing itself took almost 1 year to appear in the DMOZ.

You can also tell Google to ignore the ODP information, but that isn't necessarily a sensible move.
