Okay, so I've submitted my site to google, msn, and a few other search engines. Some of the search engines don't seem to have a place to submit my url, but that isn't the issue.
So you guys are probably thinking Google hasn't indexed my site yet, but it has. If I search for my url, my site does come up, however it doesn't have all my pages and it has outdated text and I have NEVER gotten any customers redirected from google or any other search engines, ever.
When I first signed up, I noticed a googlebot going to my site frequently. However, now, I never see the google bot as a visitor anymore. What am I doing wrong, I am so frustrated with lack of sales/traffic/this search engine issue!
my site is listed on my profile if that is relevant.

Hi Lacie - welcome to the forums.
First up - please tell us how old your site is.
Next, you might want to clean up the meta keywords tag - looks like it's getting stuffed. Each page should have a unique title, meta description and meta keywords tag specific to only the content on the page - nothing else.
Next up - you might want to try adding more content in the form of product descriptions. The images look great (I love close up shots of small items), but the engines need some text to understand what the page is about.
...and I'm noticing in the code of each page that there is a LOT of "instructional text" inside the code - this is pushing the actual content of the page lower down in the code, making more work for the spiders to find it - one of your goals needs to be to make it as easy as possible for the spiders to find the content when they crawl a page.
So, back to the first question - please help us out and let us know how long the site has been live.
...and you might want to remove the domain from your post (we prefer folks keep them in their profiles only). It'll probably get cleaned up by an admin/mod, but it's still best to take care of it yourself and update your profile for future reference.

good first effort. keep reading and listening to the advice here. everyone wants to help.
What did you use to build your site?
in my experience some of the online site builder programs are being devalued in google and other search engines. there is good reason for this, and i will explain if you used one.
you may also have a duplicate site issue
google is seeing two sites
www.accentedjewels.com
and
accentedjewels.com
you need a 301 redirect from the nonwww to the www domain

Hey guys,
thanks for being so nice about the page. I will redo the meta tags(BAH). I've used Google Analytics to see the keywords to my site and they aren't looking like what I would call appropriate. Does anyone know why that is, does it have anything to do with where the text is on the page or how much it is repeated?
I am using Dreamweaver cs2 or 3, one of those, to design the site, I'm relying pretty heavily on templates. I can try to manually removed some of the code at the top. I'm not quite sure how to do it without messing up all my font and stuff because of the CSS, but I'll probably manage it.
The site has been up for 2 weeks now, and I am actually currently working on product pages--I've got the rings done. They are going to have descriptions including height and depth, materials, and larger pictures.
Does text being inside tables affect the search engines in any way?
What's this 301 redirect? I'm not about how to do that.

the good news is your not using a site builder.
dreamweaver is fine. do not expect to know it all in 2 minutes, it will take you many many months of trial and error to achieve your goal. just keep going.
it best for your css to be in a separate file.
text in tables is fine although divs are now preferred
take baby steps, you can get the 301 later
