Hi,

Let me know what is actually the difference between a gray bar and PR0 white bar. There are pages with gray bar but with cache by Google.

Thank you

If your site have Gray bar in the page rank tool, it is possible that your site is unranked or possible that it is penalized by Google . While site with PR0 white bar is on the process of having a page rank.

Page rank always refers to individual pages, not sites.

Remember that a page will have a page rank as soon as it has been indexed, but it will not have a visible page rank for at least three months; such 'new' pages will have a gray bar in the Google toolbar.

Some pages may never acquire a visible page rank - eg machine-generated pages with multiple possible URLs - eg forum pages wink

Other pages are simply not ranked because Google has excluded them from the index; the best way to be sure is to search for a [random string of words from the page]

Pages with a white bar have a page rank = 0

Or was that a gray bar?

Come to think of it, wasn't it an iron bar?
