your most important on page positions for keyword placement are;
number 1: welcome
number 2: free UK postage
number 3: we now have shop
then there is your content paragraph
again you start with welcome, then next you have your domain name.
You will always be found for your domain name, no need to keep repeating it.
I go through this over and over again
Do not welcome people to your website, of course they are welcome.
State exactly what you do.
"The home of Airsoft and paintball tactical equipment including scopes, assault vests, eye protection, blaa blaa blaa." in a header tag, preferably an H1 with a style tag.
also
what are the 3 keyword phrases you are optimising each page of your site for?
Is Airsoft a brand name or something you made up. If you made it up and its not branded, don't use it in your keyword phrase. No one will know to search for it.
Your product pages have no content.
each page should have its own unigue title and meta tags.
I hope this gives you some things to think about.

You need to get in the heads of your searchers. they are likely not to search for airsoft , but for phrases - airsoft + 'town', airsoft plus 'weapons' or whatever. think f the lilely ones (and check out the serps), and have those phrases in mind as you fill your pages with interesting and original content. One or two phrases per page, plus a good internal navigation system.

Varies a lot form site to site; after a while, it tends to be less often for sites that change little, but can be sevarl times a day for sites with signficant changes (eg news sites).
For most sites, probably every few days is a reasonable guess.

traffic is only a part of the formula, what is your conversion rate?

you didn't follow my advice. and yes, any changes will affect your traffic and conversion. If you want to improve your rankings, it is a long term investment with varying short term results.
as for the redirect, it isn't a page redirect you need, its a domain redirect. Look up canonical redirects.
and all of this is just advice and what I would do. Others have their own methods. My way takes a lot of time (months for results), but appears to have stickiness to it.
you need to redo everypage. Any one page is only good for 2 or 3 keyword phrases. Every product page should be optimized to rank for itself. You need content.
What Quadrille said is very, very important.
anyone else want to chime in on this, now is the time
