I have been searching everywhere - web, SEO forums - and can't find out what's going on, but certainly it's serious. My hits from google drop to 40% of their previous level, pretty stable for about two years. And it was by the end of last week, beginning of this week.
Does somebody know what's going on?
Last time I lost google hits it was about two years ago, during that major change in googlebot or whatever.

I hope someone can explain this situation...

I haven't seen any major drops anywhere as of yet - perhaps your site is doing something bad and you've been found out
