    Hi,
I have created a mini website with a content page for my company and I have registered a domain name. The content site is hosted by a third party and the registered domain is forwared to this host.
If I write the domain name, www.domainname.com, it will display the www.domainname.com in the search bar for Internet Explorer, every thing is fine, but if I right click on the page and click properties I will se the address to the third party host like, domainname.thirdparty.com.
I'm a beginner with website, hosting and domain name and I don't know how to fix this. If I leave this as it is would that have a bad effect to the business?

    Sincerely
    Andla

It's because your forwarding, you can't fix this unless you get the domain to actually point to the hosting server.

You can mask, to an extent, by using a frames design for your site but that will not work 100% - the setup you have will send bots on to the actual host url and that is what will be indexed, thus searchs will bypass the domain host (actual domain) and go directly to the 3rd party host url (not the one you want).
