Since Microsoft released their updates (SP2), I have noticed a number of issues relating to Internet Explorer blocking javascript as a default.

I understand there are ways around creating a drop down navigation menu which can include java and also HTML, but wanted to know if anyone can provide any advice on this, or point me in the right direction (somewhere which explains this in a basic, simple to follow way)

I welcome your advice

Hey rol_one,

A List Apart has a couple articles you could start with. The nice part about this site is everything will be super fast and standards based. Each article has links to examples and further explanation.

Its not the easiest to follow but if you look at: [link] and [link] it will give you a better idea of what they are doing.

If you're using Dreamweaver Project Seven has some great Layer Exensions that you can use to point and click your way with:

There are much easier ways of implementing the menus such as [link] but those are all JavaScript based and aren't spider friendly.

Your best bet is to go with the standards based menus(the first two) with a little playing around with them you should be able to get them working. If you run into problems were here to help.
