    Hello,

My client would like for web site visitors to simply click a button, type in their email address, and be automatically put on a mailing list. He would like these email addresses to be in a file that he can simply input into his email's "TO:" field whenever he wants to send a newsletter. I've been looking for something like this on some JS web sites, but haven't found anything; I'm not sure what I should be looking for, such as "mailing list generator" or what? Anyone know an answer to this?

Your host will need to allow you to use PHP or ASP on your site.

Check first, which of those you can use.

You'll need to store the addresses in a file on your site (and they will need to be stored in an area that the public cannot access otherwise spammers will copy your list).

    Thanks, g1smd,

This server uses asp scripts, which I, of course, do not know beyond modifying a bit their email contact form. When you say area out of reach of the public, do you mean accessible by password or just a directory/folder not linked to the rest of the site?
