On the MSN.com website there is a clever script which has the script javascript:flip() to go next and javascript:flip(-1) to go back. It allows a new image and text to load. Any ideas how this is done? are they seperate small html pages imported? any ideas and a possible tutorial on how to do it would be excellent...

flip is the name of a function.
The function will be defined somewhere in the JS code. Browse the HTML source and look for blocks of javascript, then look at the code; and look for links to external javascript, load those files in a text editor, and look for the function there too.
