Hi,

I just set up a form to be processed by cgiemail which is pre-installed by my host. My question is regarding the template. One of the reasons I'm using cgiemail is to keep the recipient email address out of the form and away from email harvesting bots, but isn't it just as vulnerable since the template file which has a .txt extension just resides in the root?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Probably yes, as spammers have good imagination. I use off site forms supplied by Formmail and have no spam whatsoever. It cost me $1 per month for my 12 sites in total.

Ok, thanks. I think I'll look for a different script.
