Hi,
I have a client's site whose IP is located in Japan. The client and I are both located in the U.S. Does the fact that it has a Japanese IP address affect connection time when trying to connect from the U.S.?

The answer depends a lot on other factors. I have a server physically located in Singapore but has an IP address which belongs to a block in the US. The latency time is just about the same.
