My site is down "host not found" and even verio.com was down for awhile. Must be a major outage! I called their number and went through the voice mail tree to tech support and got a recording "due to local power problems in the Virginia area, some customers are experiencing hosting problems." Don't they have gas powered generators for power backup? Overall service has been great so I'm not complaining but bad service (many outages) at my former host is the main reason why I switched to Verio. I hope they get it working soon!

Verio is down again tonight since around 9:56 EST. I called their 800# and got a recorded message right away "Due to a commercial power failure, customers may be experiencing outages... high call volume..." Sounds like a major outage and I guess severe weather is the cause:
