I have, what I assume to be, a basic question regarding awstats log. I'm trying to reconcile the robots/spider log with the search engine links. First, is there a correlation? I see that I have 462+ hits by google, but only 19 links. Likewise, 333 Yahoo (inktomi slurp) hits, but only 5 links.

Does this mean googlebot has found 462 pages but decided to link only 19 or is there a lag time between locating pages and creating links? Any additional insite would be very helpful. Thanks in advance
