I took a look at our log file using 123 Log Analyzer.
THe report is pretty clear, I just have some questions :
The relation between visitors and unique IP’s. Was does it mean that I have 97 visitors from 71 U IP’s ?
What are referring domains ? What does it mean when the referrer is actually my own URL ? What does it mean when there is No Referrer ?
What are referring URL ?And the same related questions as above ?
Do the top search phrases and keywords summary list keywords and phrases that have sent people to my website, or keywords and phrases that my website is listed for ?
I would also like to know if there is a specific set or combination of filters that would benefit me.

I'll take a stab at answering your questions and others can jump in and correct me if they have a different view. I am not personally familiar with that log analyser and usually use Web analytics programs to view this type of data.
Does your report say visitors or UNIQUE visitors? A visitor may be counted more than once while a unique visitor only counts different visitors within a certain amount of time.
Some ISPs assign IP addresses dynamically (usually for dial-up connections) so different visitors could end up using the same IP address although it isn't terribly likely you'll have multiple visitors using the same IP during the time period in question.
A referring domain is the page someone was on just before they came to your site. If it shows your domain the log file is indicating they were already on your site and went to another page of your site.
Referring domain is probably the main site (www.sitename.com) while the referring url is some page on that site (www.sitename.com/anotherpage.htm)
The search phrases and keywords are what visitors actually searched on (and found you somewhere in the listings or they wouldn't have arrived at your site).
I have no information about the available filters in the program you're using. Perhaps someone else may.

The referrer is where they came from to get to the page they are on right now. So that might be from a page on another site, or from a page on your own site.
If you have really clever software it can show you the path that each user took through your website page by page... and you can see where they stopped, or where they started hitting the back button...

Which program is best for you depends on what you want to know. We've been discussing commonly recommended Web analytics programs.
